The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company is pleased to announce that it has committed $1 million to extend for an additional three-year term its sponsorship of Vision 2020, a national initiative created by the Institute for Women's Health and Leadership at Drexel University College of Medicine to bring about significant progress in advancing equality and women's leadership by the year 2020. August 26, 2010 marks the 90-year anniversary of the passing of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote. The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company commemorates this important date with new findings from its second annual Worth® Survey. The survey findings reveal women's views of their own independence, and the perceived differences between those who feel they are independent and those who don't, with regard to being on target in achieving their financial goals.

The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company today announced that a recent national survey conducted by the company shows that women who actively plan their financial future, including owning life insurance, feel better about themselves, are more self-confident and more likely to take care of themselves.
